I’m in dental hygiene school & the gum over your wisdom tooth is called an operculum. If it gets bacteria or food under it it will start to ache and the pain can go to the floor of your mouth then your neck and be super painful. Definitely go get it checked out to have them clean it out or cut the gum away! Hope it feels better soon
